Aromatherapy and Massage
Choose workshops to suit your particular needs. The tutorials give a wide range of support and topics from identifying the important indicators in a case study; Improving your practical techniques and mixing Essential Oils.
These weekends give you an ideal opportunity to give a massage and be observed and corrected where necessary in a relaxed and informative atmosphere.
‘The hands-on experience of massage with a qualified tutor overseeing is invaluable.'
Marie Asamany, Aromatherapy student
'I
felt that the tutorial brought to life the understanding I had of the subject’
Jasvinder Sidhu, Aromatherapy student.
Practical
Tutorials
Aromatherapy
(City & Guilds)
with tutor Carole Preen
These workshops run from 9am to 6pm each day
Students on the City &
Guilds course may choose from a range of workshops we have on offer in 2009.
Those who wish to join the AAPA register will be required to attend six.
Base carrier oils will be supplied but students will need to bring their own essential oils, towels; one
bath sheet and one bath towel and wear dark (preferably black) trousers or skirts
and white tops for practical work.
Aromatherapy is still self-regulated in the UK and the Diploma alone allows
you to set up as a practitioner. Those students who wish to complete the full
City & Guilds Diploma and register
with the AAPA, ie. attending all six workshops, are also required to complete
the external City & Guilds final exam. Details of the cost and when and
where this will take place will be provided upon request.
Requirements
To be a Kevala student on either Aromatherapy course.
Each tutorial counts as
16 hours towards the required 94 attendance hours if you wish to join the AAPA
at the end of your course.

also make aromatherapy soaps, bath bombs and bath salt/oil blends. You will
need to pay extra to the tutor for the jars, bottles and base soap products,
but this will all be a cost/wholesale prices and cheques are acceptable. As
well as being important elements of professional practice, this day will be
a lot of fun (if not a trifle messy!) and help you to make personalised Christmas
gifts for family and friends.
